Introducing new colors, textures, and material to a traditional look of an office interior, OTJ Architects have designed the Innovation Lab for Capital One in Arlington, Virginia. The office has an open layout and allows for easy interaction. Conference rooms are separated by wooden panel walls that have an opening but no door, further incorporating connectivity into the work environment. While most of the desk furniture is simple, meeting and communal areas feature sofas and cushions of bright colors and patterns. By paying attention to details and adding wooden accents throughout, designers have created a professional environment with warm touches.
