Second/Layer Fall/Winter 2013 Gives Us Chicano Vampire Vibes

None

Second/Layer is a creation of Jacob Willis, A. Franco and Joshua Willis debuting at New York Fashion Week. The line features minimal clothing with a drapey-but-not-really-drapey-but-more-like-relaxed-almost-unisex-proportion to them. One of the jackets doesn’t even have a lapel and the trench is like a crazy cross between a trench and a cape. Think of Second/Layer as the more every day, not tryna to be the office weirdo cousin of RoRo or Ann D. It’s good to see more brands towing the line between "I like Art" type fashion and "I like sneakers and weed" fashion. The F/W 13 lookbook and accompanying video gives me a Chicano Vampire vibe and I’m not mad at it. Let’s go suck some blood, ese.
