The transfixing work of Francesca Woodman has been in the spotlight much of late. Following an exhibition highlighting works from 1977-1981 at Rome's Libreria-Galleria il Museo del Louvre last May, the critically acclaimed retrospective Francesca Woodman, which comprises approximately 120 pieces by the late photographer, opened in November at SFMOMA, before traveling to the Guggenheim in New York, where it will remain on view through June 13. Woodman was also the focus of Marian Goodman Gallery's booth at the AADA Art Show in March. The New York and Paris-based gallery, who represent the photographer's estate, is currently exhibiting her work in their Chelsea space – go see it if you will be in New York between now and April 28!
