WHY WE CO-SIGN: Even though we've been trying to get you guys to cop a pair of dress shoes all year, we know most of you haven't even thought of throwing a pair into your regular rotation. But what if we told you that you could cop a dope pair of handcrafted hard bottoms made by your favorite sneaker company, Nike? Well, now you can. Sort of. Our brand of the week is Cole, Rood & Haan—a brand new premium line by Cole Haan—a company that happens to be owned by the "Just Do It" boys.

Started this year, Cole, Rood & Haan was set up as a tribute to the founders of Cole Haan—Trafton Cole, William Rood and Eddie Haan, three craftsmen who made shoes back in the 1920s. So you can already guess that these won't be your average oxfords and boots. Inspired by the original trio's vintage designs, the line features handmade models that range in price depending on the size of your foot (we weren't playin', they're really made by hand). But that's not why we like 'em. Most hard bottoms considered to be stylish look as if they can only be worn by indie rockers or Russell Brand. We rock with them because, well, we'd actually rock each and every one of them on the regular. Even the laceless boat shoe. We can't say it enough: everyone needs to cop a pair or two of hard bottoms, and you could do much worse than a pair of Cole, Rood & Haans. Come on, just do it.
