The Istituto Europeo di Design Imagined A Hyundai 4C Competitor
The world does need more affordable mid-engined sports cars.

In an ideal world, there would never be a need to drive anything other than a mid-engined sports car. Practicality is a barrier between this world and the ideal world, but the biggest one is price. The vast majority of mid-engined sports cars cost $150,000 or more (way more).
For the proletariat, there's pretty much just the Porsche Cayman and the upcoming Alfa Romeo 4C. Design students at the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Turin decided to solve our problem with this: the theoretical Hyundai opposition to Alfa Romeo's 4C.
The Hyundai PassoCorto would be powered by a 1.6L turbo I4 that sends 266 hp to the rear wheels, much like the 4C, and would be tiny, also much like the 4C.
