Lakers Fans Want Nick Young Back After Vague Tweets About Return

Nick Young may have tweeted his desire to return to the Lakers, after their poor shooting in the opener. Fans want Swaggy to fill out the meme team.

The Lakers have come to be known as the Meme Team for the eclectic cast of characters around LeBron James, but they've been missing one important ingredient to fully realize their potential. After missing their first 15 three-pointers in Thursday's road opener against the Blazers, they finished just 7-of-30 from deep in a 128-119 loss. In other words, they could really use a beyond-the-arc shooter. Enter Swaggy P, who apparently saw the same opportunity for his services during the game:

It seems Nick Young, who is currently a free agent, feels he can help the Lakers' poor shooting. He tweeted and deleted this.. pic.twitter.com/aykSV1FrBZ

Lakers fans read it the same way as sportswriter Alex Kennedy, and they are extremely here for a Nick Young return—though not necessarily because of his shooting.

Swaggy P wants to complete the infinity stone of the meme team.

Young tweeted again with a message even more enigmatic than the one he deleted. Good news for fans.

Still, Swaggy P remains a free agent. He spent last year winning a championship with the Warriors.
