Looks like the '90s retro craze has infected college football. Florida State, the winningest team in the '90s, fell on some hard times (at least for it) in the early 2000s, but all that's set to change. With great recruiting classes under new coach Jimbo Fisher, the Seminoles are poised to reclaim their spot among college football's elite. They can take a big step tonight when they host No. 1 ranked Oklahoma (8 eastern, ABC). T-Buck and eventual Heisman Trophy winner, Desmond Howard, went at it in '91, but this play happened when Howard was on the other side of the field. What did T-Buck do? Pick on the Wolverines and take this pick back for six.

Bowden Bowl II didn't fair too well for Tommy. His dad, Bobby Bowden, kicked his ass 54-7, and this proved to be eventual Heisman Trophy winner and FSU QB Chris Weinke's "Heisman Moment." 99 yards of Doggy Style in Death Valley.

You've heard of "bursting onto the scene"? Well Tamarick Vanover burst onto the scene. His first game was against the Miami Hurricanes, who had won something called a national championship the year before. No big deal, he just scored a 90-yard touchdown on the first play of his college career. Despite Vanover's efforts, this was the year of Wide Right II, when Seminole kicker Dan Mowrey missed a field wide right and the Canes won the game.

"Fellas, I got this." First game, second national championship season, and you knew good things were in store for the 'Noles. You really don't have to block for Peter Warrick, he'll just figure out a way to get it done.

Primetime did his Babe Ruth calling out the Clemson bench and telling them exactly what he was going to do. Run the punt back for a td and break some hearts in the process.

Charlie Ward scrambled and threw it to a freshman at a crucial moment of the game. That freshman was Warrick Dunn...and the game was done after this play.

Peter Warrick had been here before, but the previous year he lost the national championship game to Tennessee. He came back for his senior season only to score 3 TDs in the national championship game, including this amazing one to bring the chip back home to Tallahassee.

There was Wide Right I in 1991 and Wide Right II in 1992, in which the Seminoles missed game-winning field goals against their in-state rivals, the Miami Hurricanes. In 1993, a new kicker, Scott Bentley, was finally able to kick an FSU field goal down the middle for FSU to help the 'Noles win their first ever national championship.
