Toyota is acting like it's about to announce a Ferrari supercar, releasing a teaser of the totally redesigned 2014 Corolla.
The image, released on Toyota's Facebook page, appears to show the right-rear taillight assembly. From what we can tell, the design is very close to that of Toyota's Furia concept, which debuted at this year's Detroit Auto Show.
While the company has not revealed official specs for the car, most expect the Corolla to be powered by 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine with an all-new variable valve timing system. Additionally, it's been reported that Toyota is planning to introduce a new six-speed manual transmission gearbox, along with the current four-speed automatic transmission.
The 2014 Corolla will be officially unveiled on June 6, 2013 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
