How did this guy get through a metal detector, or any security screening to begin with? Amalie Arena security needs to get its shit together after 27-year-old NHL fan Lucas Cassidy was arrested after police found a gun on his person. In attendance for last night's Tampa Bay Lightning/Montreal Canadiens playoff game, Cassidy was spotted dropping his gun in an arena bathroom. The onlooker notified authorities, who approached Cassidy and searched him after he admitted to having a gun on him.

Cassidy has a concealed weapons permit for the gun, so instead of a felony gun wrap, he's been charged with second-degree misdemeanor of bringing a gun to a sporting event.

Without Cassidy cheering them on, Lightning went on to win 2-1 in Game 3 of the playoff series.
