Wide receivers and defensive backs have similar skill sets, but there’s one necessity that separates one from the other: hands. In that case, Weber State defensive back Taron Johnson should never have to worry about an NFL team even considering the idea of lining him on the offensive side of the ball.

During a gauntlet drill at the NFL Combine where prospects are fully aware that footballs will be thrown in their direction, Johnson absolutely whiffed on a pass, and took a pigskin right to the head.

When you’re in a drill with footballs being thrown at you, you should probably watch out for...footballs being thrown at you #NFLCombine pic.twitter.com/sO42xEjMc9

Now check out the reaction by the people in the background who obviously feel his pain.

Because Twitter never feels sympathy for anyone, people were quick to get off their jokes at his expense.

All these jokes combined probably still don’t hurt as much as that football to the head.
