It looks like Cam Newton is following in the footsteps of Arian Foster. Back in July, Foster conducted an interview with a couple members of the media and said some variation of "I’m just out here trying to be the best teammate I can be" and "I’m gonna work hard at doing that" 11 times. On Wednesday, Newton faced the media who had questions surrounding his rib injury and negotiating a possible contract extension, but all Cam had to say was, "My main focus is the Detroit Lions. I think I've got my hands full trying to stay protected from Donkey Kong Suh and my fellow Auburn teammate Nick Fairley."
In fact, Newton repeated that same answer five times. No real variation and yes, he did refer to Ndamukong Suh as Donkey Kong Suh every...single...time. Not gonna lie, we really can't wait to see which NFL superstar is going to be the next one to break out this method of speaking with the media.
