Paul George made his triumphant return to the Indiana Pacers today after missing all of the 2014-2015 NBA season to this point due to a horrific leg injury he suffered last summer. Paul showed out, dropping 13 points in just 15 minutes off the bench, hitting three of six 3-pointers and finishing with a plus/minus of +12. His presence energized the Pacers as they dominated the Miami Heat 112-89 and got right back in to the thick of the playoff race.

Late in the first quarter, though, George reminded us all that he hadn't played a real game of ball in a looooong time. George streaked down the court with the ball on a breakway lay-up, only to completely brick it at the rim.

PG was good natured about the miss, and was probably euphoric just to be back on a basketball court with his teammates. And to be fair, he might still be having nightmares about the play that broke his leg. But, bruh, that lay-up looked like something the dude who rolls up to the rec center in jeans and a cut-off Rolling Stones tee might throw up.
