Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones is a character. His nickname is 12 Gage. He destroys sick kids in video games. He's large enough to be mistaken for someone's dad but still has that baby face that also makes him look like a gigantic infant. He's also got jokes.
When his teammate, safety Tyvis Powell, jumped in the media scrum around Jones during Ohio State's media day this week and attempted to asked Jones a few questions, Cardale had a couple shots locked and loaded.
"I should have never walked out on your mom all those years ago," Jones quips, as Powell attempts to make fun of him. The reporters start cracking up, because you have to laugh at a Cardale Jones joke or else he might eat you.
The Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks face off in the College Football Playoff Championship on Jan. 12 at 8:30 p.m.
