Charles Barkley, as he is wont to do on TNT's "Inside the NBA," enjoys sharing his opinions with the adoring public. It's what he gets paid to do. But when you come at DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins, you best not miss.

On Thursday night, Barkley was going on about how ridiculous he thought it was that the Sacramento Kings felt the need to OK the hire of George Karl with Cousins, which included the dropping of a "bullshit" on live television. You can check out his full comments in the video above, but Barkley doesn't feel that Boogie has earned anywhere near the right to act as some sort of pseudo general manager.

Well, Cousins heard Barkley's comments, because he keeps his ears to the streets, and he isn't happy about them.

"I mean, I don’t really respect the guy, but at the same time, I don’t really care what he thinks either, Cousins told ESPN. "I don’t respect him and I don’t care what he thinks.”

Whenever someone says they don't care about what people think about them, they usually do. But it seems like Barkley is taking the rumor that Cousins' camp showed resistance to the hiring of Karl as fact, and then calling Boogie out on that premise. Which isn't the best way to go about things. For what it's worth, Cousins denied being involved in any part of the hiring process.
