The Carolina Panthers got hit in the mouth in the first half of Super Bowl 50, getting down 10-0 after the Denver Broncos strip-sacked Cam Newton and recovered the ball in the end zone. The Panthers recovered though, going on a nice response drive that ended in a touchdown, though not without almost losing wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown to a decapitated head.
After catching a pass from Newton down the left sideline, Brown bolted to the end zone before being caught by Aqib Talib around the five-yard line. Talib not only grabbed on to Brown's facemask, but used it to swing him around and toss him to the ground. It was an incredibly dangerous play, one that got Talib his second unsportsmanlike penality of the game.
The Panthers would score on the following play, but it's a slight miracle Brown got off the field with his head still intact.
