We've all done some pretty dumb shit while drunk. But we've never been drive-my-car-through-a-fence-and-onto-an-airport wasted. In other words, We've never been as turnt up as Christina Jewell was last night. The 33-year-old woman from Charlottesville, Va. was arrested Wednesday morning in the middle of a Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) runway. Police responded to a call about a crash and found Jewell driving around the runway. They had to tell air traffic control to stop all incoming traffic until they were able to wrangle Jewell's drunk ass in and charge her with a DUI.
"It's an airport so there are a lot of interesting things that take place here, but I would say this probably ranks up there with the best of them," said Jason Burch, a CHO spokesperson.
