One of the bright spots of Hard Knocks this year has been newly acquired defensive tackle Vince Wilfork. He called himself the "modern day Michael Jordan" and got buckets, despite his generous sounding 325 lb. frame. His cleats boiled with sweat in the hot Texas sun, causing bubbles to seep out the top like something out of Dr. Scholl's nightmares. And tonight he stuffed himself into some overalls and cowboy boots before arriving to practice like something out of all of our nightmares. Except he actually kind of pulled it off.
There's no doubt nearly every player is sick of training camp by the time they're in their second or third year. So for a 12-year vet (which is what Wilfork now is) we can only imagine how mundane it can get. In situations like this, you got to do your best to keep it loose. Judging by the looks of his teammates (and coach Bill O'Brien) we'd say Wilfork did just that...:
...now see what happens when you try wearing this to work.
