Preteen Finishes With Top ESPN Tourney Bracket, Isn't Eligible For Prize

A 12-year-old finished with the highest rated bracket for the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

1.

11.57 million people entered, one man stood atop the mountain. Actually, he's not really a man (yet), he's not even a freakin' teenager. Instead he's 12-year-old Sam Holtz from Lake Zurich, Ill. and he won based upon the tried and true formula of serious research and a bit of luck picking teams he liked.

Sam nailed 61 of the possible 67 picks, also going perfect from the Sweet Sixteen on. Unfortunately he isn't 18 yet, and because of ESPN's rules (stated in the fine print) Sam is not eligible for the grand prize, which was a drawing for either a trip for two to Maui (not sure if this is cool for a kid), or a $20,000 Best Buy gift card (which is cool for any age).

In lieu of those prizes, ESPN will give Sam a gift bag. Though it sounds like he just wants an Xbox. Seems like a pretty simple substitute for Bristol.
