Researchers at MIT’s Changing Places group and DenokInn have been working on a wildly innovative design for a foldable, electric car and have recently announced plans for it's release in 2013. The Hiriko Fold will go on sale for around $16,000, seating two passengers and travelling up to 75 miles between charges. Among the cars more impressive features are it's zero-turn radius wheels, which allow the car to move sideways making parallel parking a breeze.
