There always has to be one person on the team that has to be a killjoy that doesn't want to join in their team's collective splendor of winning. For a few examples, you can cite Dwight Howard during last season's NBA playoffs, Carmelo Anthony during Knicks brief the "Linsanity" win streak in 2012, and Walter Payton (RIP) pouting instead of hugging it out with his teammates after the 1985 Bears won the Super Bowl.
Now we can add Cubs catcher Miguel Montero to this category of teammates who could really give a shit about winning because of being in their feelings about not getting enough shine to contribute to their team's success. In an interview with ESPN Chicago radio show Waddle and Silvy Show, Montero, who had 12 at-bats during their postseason run, complained about feeling left out and didn't get enough playing time to feel credited as a contributor to the team's historic World Series title.

Bruh, a ton of people in Chi-Town, young and old, are revering with the rest of the Cubbies as Gods right now for a feat they have been literally waiting their entire lives for. Some things are just better left unsaid.
