During last night’s Oilers/Stars game, Edmonton player Matt Hendricks got destroyed by a shot that nailed him right in the groin. He went down—hard—and had trouble getting back to his feet. And when he finally did, he had to be taken back to the locker room for further evaluation.
The good news is that Hendricks is going to be OK. The bad news is that he is definitely going to need a new athletic cup before the Oilers’ next game:
