Kevin Durant doesn't exactly look like the toughest dude in the world—no shots, KD, we know it's your birthday today!—but he also doesn't look like a punk. So when he finally talked to someone recently about all the tattoos he's amassed on his body over the course of the last few years unbeknownst to, well, everyone because of the location of them, we were a little surprised to hear that this summer's playground champion was scared—yes, scared!—to get tattoos at first because of the needles involved.
"I was wondering why people were so worried about me getting a tattoo," he told the Oklahoman. "It doesn't change the type of person I am. It doesn't change how I look at things. It's just ink. And I like ink. It's something I always wanted to get. I was a little nervous of getting them because of needles. But I was going to get them sooner or later."
We're not really all that surprised about the tattoos. After all, who doesn't have at least one tattoo these days? But, did you really just admit that you were scared before you got yours? Probably best to keep that kind of stuff to yourself, kid. [via Pro Basketball Talk]
