Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been very vocal when it's come to Johnny Manziel over the course of the last six months or so. Even though Manziel is obviously not a part of the Cowboys organization, Jones has talked at length about how he seriously considered drafting Johnny Football back in May and has even said that he's still mad at his son Stephen Jones for not allowing him to do it. But on Sunday afternoon, shortly after the Cowboys beat the Seahawks in Seattle, Jones was asked a question about Manziel—and he refused to answer it. And he said that he was doing it because someone important had told him to stop talking about Manziel.

"I don't know how that's relevant," he said when asked about Manziel. "I'm really not so sure I'm ready to admit a mis-thought. It is not relevant, and I really have had some very stern, succinct instructions not to mention Johnny anymore from people who count, let me put it like that."

And who gave him those instructions? He wouldn't say. But from here on out, it sounds like Jones will not be mentioning Manziel anymore. And regardless of who told him to stop doing it, it's a win for all of us.
