Despite the fact that his team won the NBA title last week, Dwyane Wade wasn't real happy with the way he shot throughout the 2012 NBA Playoffs. So, he's thinking long and hard about possibly hiring a shooting coach this summer "for the first time ever" in order to regain the touch that he feels he lost during the postseason.
"[The goal] is to try to do more in the sense of my three-point game and midrange game," he said recently. "Getting that back. My mechanics aren't that bad. I don't have an ugly shot, not one of those Shawn Marion shots. There are certain things in my shot I can change."
Ouch, D-Wade! That shot at Marion was a little uncalled for, no? But, we get what you're saying. And, we just want to warn the rest of the NBA now: If Wade does get a shooting coach and bring his shooting percentage up dramatically next season, look out. The Heat will turn into more of a problem than they already are.
