Despite all the distractions surrounding him and his future in the NBA, Dwight Howard is still balling his ass off this season. Proof of that: The fact that he's now broken not one, but two different long-standing records in the month of January. Back on January 12, he broke Wilt Chamberlain's record for the most free throws attempted in a game when he went to the charity stripe 39 times during a contest against the Warriors. And last night, he broke another record when he dropped 14 points against the Pacers to become the Orlando Magic's all-time leading scorer, surpassing Nick Anderson on the franchise's scoring list.
"It's a humbling experience," he said after the game. "It does mean a lot. Not too many players in this league can say that they were their franchise's leading scorer."
Or, in other words: Take that, Shaq! Now, which franchise will DH be joining next?
