Doug and Jackie Christie have been married for two decades now, but it sounds like there miiiiiiight still be a few trust issues in their relationship. Jackie has always been very—how should we put this?—"protective" of her man, but on the first episode of season 5 of Basketball Wives LA, she revealed that she still goes to great lengths to make sure that he’s being faithful to her. On the show, she told Shaunie O’Neal about how she routinely performs a "ball status check" on the former NBA player to see if he’s been cheating on her.
So what is a ball status check? Well, it’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like. But if for some reason you can’t figure it out, here’s the explanation Jackie provided during an appearance on Raq Rants! this week:
Balls have a certain amount of weight. Usually, they’re full. If they’ve been emptied, that’s usually after intercourse or sex. Then, they’re kind of smaller and they’re emptier and they kind of shrivel up and they’re little. That’s what I was talking about when I was explaining to Shaunie. All you have to do is just look. If it’s emptier and they’re little and they shrivel up, then they’ve been emptied somewhere. So either he satisfied himself, that’s A. Or B, someone satisfied him and somebody got some explaining to do.
