Derek Jeter has never had a beard before. He plays for the Yankees—who do not allow their players to grow beards or facial hair of any kind—so he's never had the opportunity to grow one. And up until this season, Robinson Cano had never had a beard before, either. So when Jeter took the field last night to play a game against his former teammate and his new team, the Seattle Mariners, The Captain was very intrigued by the beard that Cano is now sporting. He was actually so intrigued that he had to touch it just to see what it was all about. And the result was this:
Yeah, Jeets, that's what a beard looks and feels like. Maybe you can grow your own beard this fall when you hang up your cleats for good. We can't wait to see it.
