While there have been a handful of WWE wrestlers—including Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins—who have been attacked by crazy fans over the course of the last year, the WWE actually isn’t to blame for a fan attack involving Alberto Del Rio in Puerto Rico over the weekend.

Del Rio was taking part in a match against Ray Gonzalez on behalf of the World Wrestling Council on Saturday night to fulfill a commitment that he made prior to signing with the WWE earlier this fall when he was attacked by a fan outside of the ring. Gonzalez actually jumped out of the ring to give Del Rio a hand, and security swooped in to stop the  fan within a matter of just seconds. But it didn’t prevent the fan from getting some hits in on Del Rio.

The video above isn’t the best quality, but you can clearly see Del Rio getting assaulted by the fan starting at about the seven-second mark. Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like Del Rio sustained any injuries during the unscripted attack, and security was able to remove the fan from the premises a short time later.
