As good as Aaron Rodgers is, an injured Pro Bowler is always a huge loss.

This NFL preseason has been wild. Quarterbacks are getting snuffed and players are getting injured left and right. The latest injury is the biggest of the season.

Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL, but it certainly helps to have one of the best wide receivers in the league on your side. That's Jordy Nelson, who went down during preseason game with the Steelers today. Nelson went up to catch a pass and fell to the turf immediately upon landing. He had to limp off the field.

Initial diagnosis says Nelson tore his ACL at that moment, according to Ian Rapoport.

The initial diagnosis on #Packers WR Jordy Nelson is a torn ACL, source said. Horrible news. Awaiting MRI results to confirm.

Rodgers, being the best quarterback in the NFL, should be able to make due with what he has. However, this is still terrible news for everyone involved. Nelson was looking to come back strong after a season where he earned 1,519 receiving yards.
