For whatever reason (wink, wink), people have no qualms about associating hand signals with gang activity if that hand has black skin. That 's still the case if you're a public figure, worth seven digits, and go by the name of Cam Newton. Your award for fitting that criteria is that more people get to accuse you of gang-repping.
As a result, an Instagram post showing love to the brothers becomes troll bait:

People really think gangs are endorsed by Under Armour and silk scarves. Anyways, Newton saw the nonsense and followed up with a post that pictured the gentlemen in formal attire. He reveals, in a surprise, Hitchcockian twist, that the men in that picture all have degrees. Newton also accompanied the post with a Thug Life manifesto, which you can read below.
