Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryantsigned a new contract over the summer worth $70 million over five years, and has been sidelined due to injury after breaking his foot during the first game of the season.

That combination of boredom and resources has led to Bryant bringing a new pet into his life.

Pet monkeys are officially the new status symbol among professional athletes. As soon as Anthony Davis of the Pelicans inked a contract extension for $145 million, he too was eager to go out and grab one for himself.
