The list of engaging storylines has been seemingly endless -- Lamar popping off in his second year, the Steelers and Browns throwing down, the Antonio Brown saga getting crazier by the day, and more. America’s Game has experienced a significant rebound in popularity this season. It may eventually fall behind hoops, but that day is far off. The rumors of football’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
However, if you’ve been tuning out the NBA, you’ve been missing out on an incredible start to the season. LeBron and A.D. have brought the swagger back to the purple and gold, making the Lake Show look like the class of the league once again. Meanwhile, the other star-studded Hollywood team has been impressive in its own right. Oh, and Giannis has somehow gotten even better, and the Bucks are absolutely scorching out East.
It should come as no surprise that the players at the forefront of those franchises are all in our top 10 early MVP favorites as All-Star Weekend (slated for mid-February) begins to creep into focus. But who else has been tearing up the NBA? And, most importantly: who has been the best of the best?
