Jadeveon Clowney is reportedly on the way to Seattle to join Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. Jay Glazer reported on Saturday that the Texans and Seahawks have agreed to trade parameters for the outside linebacker. The Texans discussed getting Barkevious Mingo, Jacob Martin, and a 2020 third-round pick in the trade.

Scoopage: SEA & HOU have agreed to trade parameters re: Jadeveon Clowney contingent upon Clowney & other players involved passing physicals. Still lot of moving parts but believed Clowney, who rejected going to Miami at first, is headed for his physical with Hawks. @NFLONFOX

Source: The Texans and Seahawks' deal, being finalized now, will land Houston a 2020 third-round pick, plus defensive players. So that'll soften the blow, losing Clowney's on-field impact.

A league source told the Seattle Times that the Seahawks would acquire Clowney, who was the first pick in the 2014 NFL draft. Sources also told ESPN about the trade, and that it's close to being finalized. The 26-year-old Clowney originally chose not to sign his franchise tender during the offseason, with an estimated worth close to $16 million. He will finally sign the tender in order to complete the trade to the Seahawks.

Clowney, who has been with the Texans since 2014, has made the Pro Bowl the past three seasons.
