LeBron James on Not Wanting to be an NBA Head Coach: "I'll Get Blamed for Every Little Thing"

Ironic response, no?

On Monday, Jeff Hornacek joined the Rockets' Kevin McHale, the Nets' Lionel Hollins, and the Cavaliers' David Blatt as the fourth head coach to be fired this season.

Hornacek tried to make things work without his best two players, Brandon Knight, who has been sidelined with a groin injury since mid-January, and Eric Bledsoe, who suffered a season-ending left knee injury in late December. However, the league is all about positive results and when the losses kept piling up to the tune of 19 of the last 21, it was only a matter of time before Hornacek's time with the Suns came to an end.

According to cleveland.com, when LeBron James found out about Hornacek's firing, he responded, "Man, I couldn't be a head coach. Boy, I'll get blamed for every little thing. Can you imagine that? Please."

While it would be interesting to see Coach James roam the sidelines for an NBA team one day, it's kind of ironic for him to say that he'll "get blamed for every little thing" when that's already happening. Either way, hopefully, in time, 'Bron 'Bron changes his mind and decides to give the coaching thing a try when he hangs up his jersey for good.
