Last ditch effort highlight or training videos don't have that great of a success rate. Ask Terrell Owens if he had much luck in the NFL after he shot his. But what might not work for others might work for some. LaVance Taylor is one of the some.

Taylor was an undrafted running back out of Central Missouri when he decided to tweet a highlight video to the Kansas City Chiefs. He seemed humble enough in the tweet, coming across as a guy who wants a shot rather than the thing you've been missing.

@KCChiefs hey my name is LaVance Taylor and I am currently a free agent and I wanted you to check me out. http://t.co/T8sD9L8pTs

The numbers were there: Taylor rushed for 1,918 yards and 15 touchdowns last season in addition to 427 receiving yards. That said, it would've helped a bit if he put those numbers in Division-I instead of Division-II.

But the Chiefs were impressed with they saw, and Taylor got himself a job.

The #Chiefs have signed LaVance Taylor, RB, Central Missouri.

This is reminder to never give up on your dreams. It's also a reminder that good timing goes a long way. The Chiefs' running back corps was running shallow with Cyrus Gray released and Keshawn Hill suffering a hamstring injury. Regardless, Taylor now has the shot he wanted.
