The Rock on Hulk Hogan's Racist Outbursts: "He Said What He Said and He's Paying the Price."

"I was pretty disappointed with what I heard."

Hulk Hogan has been pretty much erased from WWE history following him being caught on tape repeatedly using the N-word. But everyone in the wrestling world is now being asked their opinion on the Hulkster.

At a panel at the Television Critics Association for Ballers Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was asked what he thought about Hogan. And while his response was pretty diplomatic, he obviously didn’t like the opinions expresses on the recordings:

“I was pretty disappointed with what I heard… I’ve known Terry {Boella, Hogan’s real name} for years. My dad help trained him in Florida in the 1970s, and even my uncle. I come from a long line of professional wrestlers. I didn’t know {Hogan} to be a racist. It’s one of those things where it’s not definite in terms of what he said. We’ve all talked trash. He said what he said, and he’s paying the price.”

As disappointing it is to hear horrible things come out of Hulk Hogsn’s mouth, at least we can remember that The Rock seems like a genuinely really nice guy.
