On Saturday, UFC 189 was not only a great card but the presentation was noticeably different from previous events. There was the clean graphic at the bottom of the screen displaying the rounds, time remaining and fighter's names, the Octagon 3-D animation prior to Rory MacDonald vs. Robbie Lawler and so much more. Another interesting touch was the walkout music, which featured live performances from Sinead O'Connor and Aaron Lewis for Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes, respectively.

Following UFC 189, UFC president Dana White spoke to reporters about the alterations and revealed that he was "working on" getting Rihanna to perform for Jose Aldo's walkout. However, the plan never came to fruition as Aldo was forced to pull out of his fight with McGregor after reportedly suffering a fractured rib during training.

In his last match in October against Mendes, Aldo came out to "Run This Town," but the featherweight champion tends to switch up his music from fight to fight. While there's no telling if Rih Rih would've actually agreed to perform when Aldo made his way to the Octagon, we could find out in the near future when Aldo and McGregor finally do square off.
