The Washington Wizards Blew a 20-Point Fourth Quarter Lead, So Paul Pierce Banked in the Game Winner

The Truth does it again

Paul Pierce is having an unreal 2015 NBA Playoffs. He almost single handily dispatched the Toronto Raptors with clutch shot after clutch shot in the opening round, and he's working his dark magic again against the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semis.

With his team having fully blown a 20-point fourth quarter win, and with Pierce having yet to score a point in the final period, the former Celtic hit a jumper, off glass we might add, from his favorite spot on the court (the good old elbow) at the buzzer to give the Wizards a 103-101 win and a 2-1 lead in the series with another home game coming up on Monday.

When asked by Chris Broussard in the immediate aftermath whether or not he called bank, Pierce responded as only The Truth could.

"I called game."
