It doesn't seem like the Hawks should need to do much this season to convince their fans to come to games. Atlanta is currently the best team in the NBA's Eastern Conference—and one of the best teams in the entire league. So that in and of itself should be enough to bring the fans out.

But the Hawks have gone above and beyond this year to try and attract more fans to games. Back in January, they held a special Tinder-themed "Swipe Right Night" during a game against the Grizzlies. And now, they're turning to 2 Chainz for help.

The rapper just agreed to do the Hawks' introductions during a game against the Heat on March 27:

The Hawks will also give Philips Arena a makeover that night. They'll hand out 2 Chainz' latest mixtape, T.R.U. Jack City, to the first 5,000 fans in attendance. They'll give fans the chance to buy 2 Chainz-inspired Hawks gear at their team store. And they'll produce a bunch of original video content starring 2 Chainz and air it on the JumboTron.

And of course, 2 Chainz will perform during the game, too. In fact, it sounds like he's going to perform so much that it'll probably feel a little bit like a 2 Chainz concert with a basketball game taking place during intermissions:

Three 2 Chainz performances? This sounds like it'll be an amazing night. But is it really that difficult to sell Hawks fans on coming to Philips Arena simply to—gasp!—watch a basketball game?
