Cincy's Octavius Ellis Ejected After Hitting Opponent in Throat With Forearm

Cincinnati's Octavius Ellis gets ejected after throwing forearm into opponents throat.

Battling under the boards can be messy, and though we like the refs swallowing their whistles, it's kind of tough when a dude straight forearm shivers an opponent in the throat. That's what happened tonight when Cincinnati's Octavius Ellis lost his cool and popped Purdue's A.J. Hammons. The ejection led to Ellis leaving the court in tears.

If Cincinnati advances he'll be eligible to play Saturday. But that just got a lot tougher without their leading scorer/rebounder.
