When you think about Jimmy Butler, you probably, er, make that definitely don't think about Michael Jordan. No disrespect to Butler—he's a really solid player and is going to play an important role for the Bulls this season—but he is not MJ.
Bulls announcer Stacey King got really excited last night when Butler made a game-winning shot to beat the Hawks in a preseason game, though. So excited that he went ahead and called Butler "Jimmy Jordan" after he made a three-pointer to help Chicago complete a 21-point comeback against Atlanta. It was a great shot and Butler deserved praise for it. But "Jimmy Jordan"?!
Strangely enough, it's not the only time King compared Butler to MJ last night, either. He also said this at one point during the game:
