Boris Johnson isn't built for the football pitch.
The Mayor of London took part in a friendly kickaround this afternoon but a late challenge on a fleet-footed midfielder evoked memories of a charity match several years earlier.
Boris quickly realised an error in judgement and raised his hands to apologise for the foul. Luckily for him, there wasn't a referee around to issue him with a yellow card.
At least he didn't spear the young child this time around.
