Losing to Northwestern at home is a bad look. Like, a really bad look. Penn State lost 29-6 (yikes) to Northwestern at Beaver Stadium today. Going in, Northwestern had only won one of their last five away games, and Penn State fancies themselves as a somewhat competent football team.
Penn State's performance can best be summed up by the above GIF. Down in the fourth quarter, Penn State went for it on 4th and 1. On the ensuing running play, Nittany Lion linemen Andrew Nelson and Brian Gaia blocked each other instead of, um, the linebacker who ran right by them to stuff the play.
How does this even happen? Same team, yo!
