Earlier today, the United States defeated Turkey, 98-77, in their second contest of the 2014 FIBA World Cup. And while a 22-point win seems awfully impressive, this game confirms the old adage that it's not how you start but how you finish. After both teams remained close throughout the first quarter, it was Turkey that pulled away in the second quarter and even held a 40-35 lead at halftime.

When the U.S. got out of the tunnel for the second half, they turned into an entirely different team. And even though it wasn't pretty at times, like this accidental teardrop by Kyrie Irving, Team USA got the job done against one of the tougher opponents in the tournament.

Team USA will have one day off before playing in three straight games against New Zealand, Dominican Republic and Ukraine, respectively.
