J.R. Smith Isn't Going to Be a Sixth Man Anymore, According to J.R. Smith

J.R. Smith took to Twitter earlier this morning to reveal that he's not going to be coming off the bench anymore next season.

Throughout his NBA career, J.R. Smith has excelled as a sixth man. In fact, he was so effective coming off the bench for the Knicks last season that he won the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award. But it seems he's had enough of riding the bench. So when a Knicks fan sent out a tweet yesterday predicting that Smith will win the Sixth Man of the Year award again next season, Smith replied by revealing that he is not going to be coming off the bench anymore:

Does J.R. know something that we don't? Or is this just wishful thinking on his part? Either way, it sounds like Derek Fisher might have his first major coaching decision on his hands! Can't the guy just get settled in before all of this madness starts?
