As you probably already know, Hope Solo was arrested on Saturday on two counts of investigation of domestic-violence assault for allegedly striking her sister and nephew. Now, we have some additional information to report, courtesy of TMZ Sports, who obtained the court documents. Hope's nephew informed the authorities that the U.S. Women's Team goalkeeper came over to the his home in Seattle already intoxicated and upset over missing a flight.

The 17-year-old also believes that Solo was upset because she thought the kid was "talking smack about her and got agitated." After the 32-year-old Hope told her nephew that he would never become a professional athlete because he was "too fat and crazy," he made his way into another room. When Solo followed him, continuing to fling insults like calling him a p*ssy "because I called my mom," he responded by telling her to get "her c*nt face out of my house."

After that remark, Hope reportedly snapped, "grabbing the boy's hair and repeatedly punching him." In response to the attack, the boy said, "I then went into a back room and got an old gun that does not work, pointed it at her and she kept coming at me. She didn't leave but walked around me cornering me like a shark." His mother maintains that the gun was a BB gun.

When her nephew called the cops, Hope left but somehow got back into the house and went after her sister (or, the boy's mother). While this went on, the 17-year-old grabbed a broomstick and repeatedly hit Solo in the head.

When the cops arrived, Hope was arrested. She is pleading not guilty, claiming that she's the one who is the victim in the matter.
