Take a trip down memory lane as we share a crazy moment at the podium, an amazing posterization, an absolute on-court fail or a memorable shooting performance from the postseason of the National Basketball Association in This Day in NBA Playoffs History.

During the 1988 NBA Playoffs, Michael Jordan became the first player in league history to score 50 or more points in consecutive playoff games. Following a 50-point performance in Game 1 of the Bulls' Quarterfinals matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jordan put up 55 in Game 2. Not a bad accomplishment for someone only in his fourth year in the NBA.
