We got to be honest, writing about tennis isn't our favorite thing to do here at Complex. But, when a Hall of Fame wide receiver's wife gets headbutted over a line call, we tend to make an exception. The alleged incident occurred today during a doubles match at a Boca Raton, Florida community center. Melanie Carter disagreed with one of her opponents, which is when things got ugly. According to Mrs. Carter, the adversary said "hit me" and before the taunt could process No. 80's wife got a literal face-to-face encounter. Cris was known for "only catching touchdowns" and now Melanie has her own unique accomplishment. There's a silver lining in everything.
