Earlier today, we saw Peyton Manning walking into MetLife Stadium with one of the meanest gamefaces you will ever see. A short while ago, the reserved Marshawn Lynch showed up with a Rocksmith hat that may have perfectly summed up his mood at the moment. No interviews needed. Just take a look at his cap from the Rock Smith Spring 2014 collection in the thumbs, which fittingly shows the lyrics, "My Minds, My Nine," from The Notorious B.I.G. on "Player's Anthem" by Junior M.A.F.I.A.

Over the last couple of days, the media has turned Lynch's quietness into something of an attitude thing, which is the furthest thing from the truth. Far too often, he's been referred to as a "thug" or simply in a negative light, but through it all, Lynch knows who he is and that's one smart, community-oriented individual. This silent yet confident "fuck you" to the critics through the Rock Smith strapback is exactly what we like to see out of Beast Mode.

And, as Lynch told Deion Sanders earlier this week, "I'm about that action, boss." Tonight, we will see him do what he does best. Get to work out on the field.
