For his first seasons in Formula 1, James Hunt drove a car with no sponsor decals on account of his very wealthy benefactor, Lord Hesketh. The team didn't have the resources to be consistently fast, but Hunt did at least manage to make enough of a splash to get picked up by McLaren after Lord Hesketh's funds ran out. If the story sounds familiar, you are probably either a middle-aged European man or you saw Ron Howard's Rush.

Now that car, with its simple white with red and blue stripes livery, will be hitting the auction block in Monaco at the upcoming RM Auctions event. It's expected to sell for between €400,000 ($539,000) and €650,000 ($876,000).
